What is Todij Playlist Manager (TPM)?
Todij Playlist Manager (TPM) is a Chrome extension that helps you search, sort, filter, import, organize, and manage YouTube videos across playlists, liked videos, channels, and pasted links in one workspace.
How do I install Todij Playlist Manager?
Install directly from the official Chrome Web Store listing: Add Todij Playlist Manager to Chrome.
Who is TPM for?
TPM is built for people who need faster control over large YouTube playlists, liked videos, subscribed channels, and manual link workflows.
What makes TPM different from other YouTube playlist extensions?
Most tools stop at one playlist or basic search. TPM combines four source modes, advanced sort, layered filters, guided link import, counted video-link export, playlist actions, and dedicated playlist/channel management workflows in one interface.
Can TPM search across multiple playlists at once?
Yes. You can select multiple playlists and run one keyword search across all of them at the same time.
Can TPM search across multiple subscribed channels at once?
Yes. You can select multiple subscribed channels and search across their uploads together.
How many sources can I search at the same time?
TPM supports flexible multi-select playlist and channel runs within loading limits. Liked Videos runs as a dedicated single-source mode.
Which source modes are currently available in TPM?
TPM currently supports four source modes: Playlists, Liked Videos, Channels, and Manual URLs. All of them feed into the same loaded-video workspace for sorting, filtering, selection, link import and counted export, and bulk-open workflows.
How does Playlists mode work in TPM?
Playlists mode lets you select multiple playlists from your account, load their videos into the shared workspace, then sort, filter, bulk-open, or use playlist-backed actions like move, copy, and delete from playlist.
How does Liked Videos mode work in TPM?
Liked Videos is a dedicated single-source mode. TPM loads your liked-video library into the same shared workspace so you can sort, filter, and bulk-open results just like other supported source modes.
How does Channels mode work in TPM?
Channels mode lets you select multiple subscribed channels and load their uploads into the shared workspace, where you can sort, filter, paginate, select, and bulk-open videos. The channel picker shows video-count badges and supports video-count sorting.
How does Manual URLs mode work in TPM?
Manual URLs mode lets you paste YouTube watch URLs, short URLs, embed URLs, or raw video IDs. TPM resolves them into the same shared loaded-video workspace used by other source modes.
What does "bulk open" mean in TPM?
Bulk open means you can select many videos and open them all in new tabs with one click instead of opening them one by one.
Is there a safety warning before opening lots of tabs?
Yes. TPM shows a warning before opening more than 100 tabs so you do not overload your browser by accident.
Can TPM open videos in the background so I do not lose focus?
Yes. TPM opens selected videos in background tabs so your workflow stays smooth while tabs load.
Does the top-bar search include video descriptions?
The top-bar search filters loaded video titles. Enter a keyword and press Enter, or enable REGEX for title patterns. Do not treat it as transcript or full-description search.
What is "Search Across Everything" in TPM?
Choose one source workflow, load its available videos and search the loaded workspace. You can select multiple playlists or multiple subscribed channels within loading limits; Liked Videos is a separate source mode.
What is the fastest way to find a video buried in huge playlists?
Choose a source, load videos, then enter a title keyword in the top-bar search and press Enter. Add channel, duration or publication-date filters to narrow the loaded results.
Does TPM support advanced filtering after videos are loaded?
Yes. After loading results you can combine keyword, REGEX, channel, duration, available HD/SD definition, and publication-date filters without starting over.
Will my video selections disappear if I change filters?
No. TPM keeps your selection stable across filter changes until you clear the selection.
What does "stable selection" mean?
Filtering changes what you see, but it does not reset what you selected. You stay in control while refining results.
Can I stop a search if I typed the wrong keyword?
For loaded-title filtering, edit or clear the query and press Enter. During loading, use Stop Loading to stop remaining work; an in-flight request may finish.
Does TPM cancel the previous search automatically when I start a new one?
You can stop an in-progress load before changing sources. Loaded-title keyword and REGEX filters apply when you press Enter; changing a filter does not clear selected videos.
Does TPM work well with massive playlists?
Yes. TPM is designed for scale and stays responsive even with very large libraries.
Why is TPM so fast compared to many extensions?
TPM stores video info locally, so repeat loads and searches become much faster over time.
Do I need to reload the same playlists every time?
No. Because TPM stores video info locally, future sessions and repeat searches can be significantly faster.
Does TPM collect my personal data?
No. TPM is designed to operate in your browser and does not collect or share your personal data.
What permissions does TPM need, and why?
TPM declares identity for Google sign-in, storage for preferences and caching, and Google API host access for requested library and management workflows. It does not request YouTube web-page host access or the tabs permission.
What Google permissions does TPM request?
Google sign-in requests the youtube.readonly and youtube scopes. These allow TPM to read your chosen library and carry out playlist or subscription changes you explicitly request. Revoke authorization at any time through Google Account connections.
Does TPM change my playlists or subscriptions?
TPM does not make background or automatic account changes. It can perform explicit user-triggered playlist actions such as moving, copying, deleting playlist items, and creating playlists when you choose those actions.
Is signing in with Google safe?
Yes. TPM uses Google's official sign-in flow and requests only the access needed for its documented browsing and user-triggered playlist workflows.
Can I open videos by range like videos 21-40?
Load available results, then use filtering, pagination and video selection to choose the set to open. Only loaded selected items are included.
Does TPM support pagination for huge playlists?
Yes. TPM uses paging so you can load and browse in manageable chunks.
Can I load videos first, then decide what to open?
Yes. TPM is designed around a load, filter, select, and open workflow for fast decision-making.
Can TPM filter loaded videos by channel name?
Yes. After loading videos, you can filter by channel and combine title, duration, available HD/SD definition, and publication-date filters to narrow results quickly.
Does TPM show where each video came from?
Yes. TPM surfaces source context so you understand why a video appears in your results.
What is the "+N" badge I sometimes see on videos?
It indicates the video appears in multiple selected sources, such as across several playlists.
Does TPM remember my layout preferences?
Yes. TPM persists UI preferences like grid or list and layout choices so your workspace feels consistent.
Can TPM restore the last tab I used, Playlists vs Channels?
Yes. TPM can restore the last used source tab so you can pick up where you left off.
How can I delete TPM’s local data?
Remove TPM through Chrome’s extension controls to delete its extension-managed local data. Delete downloaded exports separately. This does not delete your YouTube playlists or subscriptions.
Are downloaded exports deleted with the extension?
No. Exports are files you manage outside the extension. Delete them separately when no longer needed; TPM does not refresh or remove them automatically.
Does removing TPM revoke Google authorization?
Removing the extension deletes its local data. To revoke Google authorization, also remove TPM from your Google Account connections. Your YouTube playlists and subscriptions remain unchanged.
Can I use TPM again after removing local data?
Yes. Reinstall TPM if needed, sign in, choose your sources and run a new search. TPM will request the required data from YouTube again.
What does "Stop Wasting Time. Tame Your YouTube Playlists." mean?
It is TPM's core promise: faster discovery, cleaner filtering, and bulk actions so you stop fighting long playlists.
Is TPM free?
Yes. TPM is free to install from the Chrome Web Store with no paid setup required for core search, sort, filter, and bulk-open workflows.
Does TPM work for Watch Later with hundreds or thousands of videos?
TPM is designed for large libraries. Load, search, filter, and bulk-open instead of scrolling forever.
What is the quickest workflow to open a study session set?
Load the selected sources, apply title keywords or REGEX and other filters, review your selections, then choose Open Selected.
Can TPM help content creators manage research videos faster?
Yes. Multi-source search and filtering make it easy to find references across many saved playlists.
Can TPM help teams or agencies doing research?
Yes. TPM helps teams open many videos quickly and consistently without repetitive clicking.
Does TPM reduce YouTube tab chaos?
Yes. TPM helps you search precisely and open exactly what you want, safely and in bulk.
Can I use TPM to build a curated watch queue quickly?
Yes. Search across sources, pick the best results, and open them in new tabs with one click.
Does TPM help prevent browser slowdowns?
Yes. TPM warns before opening very large amounts of tabs to avoid overwhelming Chrome.
Is TPM beginner-friendly for non-technical users?
Yes. TPM is designed for non-programmers with a clear UI and simple workflows.
What if TPM does not find any results for my keyword?
Try a broader title keyword or REGEX pattern, clear other filters, or load additional sources and search their loaded results.
Does TPM work only on one playlist at a time?
No. TPM is built to work across playlists, liked videos, and channels so you can search and act at scale.
How does Todij AI Technology relate to TPM?
TPM reflects Todij AI Technology's product mindset: thunder-fast UX, scalable architecture, and SaaS-grade polish.

Can I export only the videos that match a date filter?
Export video links from Selected videos, Current page, Matching filters (all pages), or All loaded videos. Each scope shows its count and includes links from any loaded source, including YouTube API-loaded playlists, liked videos and channels. TXT and CSV contain URLs; JSON also includes video IDs. Files omit titles, descriptions, thumbnails, durations, account details and playlist structure. This is a link list, not a complete account or playlist backup.
Can I open only videos that match multiple filters?
Yes. Load videos, combine filters such as keyword, channel, duration, available HD/SD definition, and publication date, select the matching videos, then use Open Selected.
Does changing filters reset selected videos?
No. TPM keeps selected videos stable across filter changes, sorting, and pagination until you intentionally clear the selection.
What top-bar filters can be combined in the loaded-video workspace?
Filter by HD, SD or Unknown using YouTube’s available definition metadata, alongside duration and publication-date filters. TPM does not claim exact playback resolutions such as 1080p, 1440p or 4K.

Can I control how many filtered videos appear per page?
Yes. The top-bar pagination controls let you choose page size and page position so large filtered result sets stay easier to scan.
Can I filter search results without reloading YouTube data?
Yes. Once videos are loaded into the workspace, top-bar filters refine the local loaded result set in place instead of forcing you to reload the same YouTube source.

Can I sort by most watched or most liked videos?
Yes. TPM includes Most Watched and Most Rated (Likes) sort options when the relevant metadata is available in the loaded results.
Does sorting remove or reload my videos?
No. Sorting only changes the order of the currently loaded videos. It does not reload sources or remove items from your result set.
What does the top search filter do after videos are already loaded?
The top search filter narrows the current loaded results in-place, helping you refine what is already on screen without loading videos again from the source.
Does the top-bar REGEX toggle apply to the loaded-video filter?
Yes. The top-bar REGEX toggle applies regex matching to the top-bar loaded-video title filter so you can use pattern-based matching on already loaded results.
How do I search the loaded workspace?
Use the top-bar search to filter loaded video titles. Press Enter to apply keywords or a REGEX pattern, then combine it with channel, duration and publication-date filters.
How does REGEX work in the loaded-video search?
Enable REGEX in the top-bar search, enter a title pattern and press Enter. For example, ^N.*MCP matches loaded titles beginning with N and containing MCP without case sensitivity. Clear the query to restore other matching loaded results.
What happens if my regex pattern is invalid?
TPM shows an invalid regex hint and fails closed rather than silently returning misleading matches. This helps prevent accidental bad searches.
Can I filter loaded videos by duration bucket?
Yes. TPM supports duration buckets for All, under 5 minutes, 5-20 minutes, 21-60 minutes, and over 60 minutes.
Does TPM still track opened videos?
TPM marks videos opened through its individual and bulk-open controls. These are local opening markers, not YouTube watched history. The current top-bar does not include an opened/unopened filter.
Can I show only unplayed videos before opening more tabs?
The current top-bar does not include an unplayed-only filter. Opened markers record opening through TPM rather than YouTube viewing history; clearing local data removes those markers.
What published date filter modes are supported?
TPM supports All, Before, After, and Between modes for published date filtering. Depending on the mode, you can enter a from-date, to-date, or both.
Can I filter videos published before a certain date?

The channel filter is a searchable multi-select dropdown built from the currently loaded results. You can select one or many channels, search inside the filter, or clear selection to show all.
Can I select multiple channels in the channel filter?
Yes. TPM's channel filter supports multi-select, so you can restrict results to several channels at the same time.
What do Select All and Deselect All do inside the channel filter?
Select All chooses every available channel in the current loaded set, while Deselect All clears the restriction so results are no longer limited by channel selection.
What does Export JSON include in TPM?
Export video links from Selected videos, Current page, Matching filters (all pages), or All loaded videos. Each scope shows its count and includes links from any loaded source, including YouTube API-loaded playlists, liked videos and channels. TXT and CSV contain URLs; JSON also includes video IDs. Files omit titles, descriptions, thumbnails, durations, account details and playlist structure. This is a link list, not a complete account or playlist backup.
What does Export CSV include in TPM?
Export video links from Selected videos, Current page, Matching filters (all pages), or All loaded videos. Each scope shows its count and includes links from any loaded source, including YouTube API-loaded playlists, liked videos and channels. TXT and CSV contain URLs; JSON also includes video IDs. Files omit titles, descriptions, thumbnails, durations, account details and playlist structure. This is a link list, not a complete account or playlist backup.
What is the difference between Move, Copy, and Delete Selected from Playlist?
Move copies selected playlist items into a destination playlist and then removes them from the source where applicable. Copy adds selected items to another playlist without removing the originals. Delete Selected from Playlist removes the selected playlist entries from the current source playlist.
Can I move videos from one playlist to another in TPM?
Yes. When you are working with eligible playlist-backed results, TPM can move selected videos to another playlist through Advanced → Move Selected to Playlist.
Can I copy selected videos to another playlist in TPM?
Yes. TPM supports copying selected playlist-backed videos to another playlist through Advanced → Copy Selected to Playlist without removing the original source entries.
Can I delete selected videos from a playlist in TPM?
Yes. TPM supports deleting selected playlist entries from the current playlist-backed source through Advanced → Delete Selected from Playlist.
Can I delete videos from Liked Videos using the same Advanced delete action?
Not in the current UI flow. Liked Videos can be loaded, searched, sorted, filtered, exported, and bulk-opened, but Delete Selected from Playlist is currently a playlist-backed action rather than a generic liked-videos removal action.
Do Move, Copy, and Delete actions work only for playlist-backed items?
Yes. Playlist actions depend on playlist-backed items and YouTube playlist entry identifiers, so they are intended for workflows where the selected videos come from playlist sources.
