1. Summary
Todij Playlist Manager ("TPM") does not use advertising cookies and does not use third-party tracking cookies.
TPM may use local browser/device storage, IndexedDB, chrome.storage.local, browser-managed cache-like storage, and similar technologies so the Chrome extension can function, remember preferences, and avoid unnecessary repeat API calls.
2. What TPM stores locally
TPM may store the following data locally on your browser/device:
- UI preferences, theme/layout settings, source-tab settings, and saved search presets.
- Cached YouTube playlist, playlist item, video, channel, subscription, duration, resolution, and transcript metadata used by TPM workflows.
- Search settings, lazy-search cache, pagination state, and temporary session/workflow state.
- Opened-video state used for local opened-state indicators and cache-clearing workflows.
- Temporary authentication/session-related local state needed for Chrome Identity and user-authorized functionality.
YouTube API data cached by TPM is retained for up to 24 hours unless cleared sooner. Opened-video state and saved search presets are also removed by Clear Cached YouTube Data because they can contain YouTube video or source identifiers. Preferences may persist longer until reset or uninstall.
3. Google and YouTube cookies
Google/YouTube authentication may involve Google's own cookies, account sessions, and security systems outside TPM's control. TPM does not control Google's cookie or account-session behavior.

4. What TPM does not use storage for
- No advertising cookies.
- No third-party tracking cookies.
- No cross-site behavioral profiling.
- No sale of local storage data or YouTube API data.
- No TODIJ-operated external database for your YouTube playlist/channel content.
5. How to delete local data
You can delete local TPM data by:
- Opening TPM Settings / Maintenance Menu / Account & Privacy and clicking Clear Cached YouTube Data to remove cached YouTube API data, opened-video state, saved search presets, transcript cache, and search cache data stored by TPM on this browser.
- Using Reset Settings to restore TPM preferences.
- Removing the Chrome extension.
- Clearing extension/site data from browser settings.
6. How to revoke Google/YouTube access
Deleting local data is separate from revoking Google/YouTube account authorization. To revoke access, use TPM's in-app Revoke Google/YouTube Access control or open:
https://myaccount.google.com/connections?filters=3,4&hl=en
After revocation, TPM cannot access your YouTube data unless you sign in again and grant permission again.
