1. What Todij Playlist Manager does
Todij Playlist Manager ("TPM") is a Chrome extension for managing and navigating YouTube playlists, liked videos, subscribed channels, and manually supplied YouTube links or video IDs.
TPM runs in your browser. TODIJ Technology Ltd does not operate a server that receives, stores, sells, or analyzes your YouTube library data.
Todij Playlist Manager is an independent product and is not endorsed by Google or YouTube.
2. YouTube API data TPM accesses
After you sign in with Google and grant permission, TPM may access user-authorized YouTube data needed for the workflow you choose, including:
- Playlists and playlist items.
- Video IDs, playlist item IDs where applicable, video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, published dates, and durations.
- Channel names, channel IDs, video owner channel details, and subscription/channel-related data when you use channel workflows.
- Liked-videos metadata when you use Liked Videos mode.
- Video statistics or resolution metadata when you use filtering/sorting features that request those fields.
- Caption/transcript data if an experimental transcript search workflow is enabled and requested.
- Locally supplied YouTube URLs, raw video IDs, or import files that you choose to paste or upload into TPM workflows.
3. Purpose of use
TPM uses YouTube API data only to provide user-requested extension functionality, including:
- Loading playlists, liked videos, subscribed channels, and channel uploads.
- Searching, filtering, sorting, pagination, and stable selection inside the TPM interface.
- Displaying video metadata and thumbnails.
- Opening selected videos in browser tabs.
- Exporting user-selected or filtered result sets locally when you request it.
- Performing explicit user-triggered playlist or subscription management actions where the current extension build supports them.
TPM does not use YouTube API data for advertising, cross-site tracking, unrelated profiling, data brokerage, or sale.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Browser and device storage
TPM may store or access data locally on your browser/device using Chrome extension storage, IndexedDB, chrome.storage.local, browser-managed cache-like storage, or similar browser technologies. The current implementation uses IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local for extension functionality.
Locally stored data may include user preferences, UI settings, cached YouTube metadata, cached playlist/channel/source state, search settings, pagination state, opened-video state, saved search presets, and temporary authentication/session-related state needed for functionality.
YouTube API data cached by TPM is retained locally for up to 24 hours unless you clear it sooner. User preferences and locally saved UI settings may persist longer until you reset settings, clear extension data, or uninstall TPM. Opened-video state and saved search presets are removed by Clear Cached YouTube Data because they can contain YouTube video or source identifiers.
For more detail, see the Cookie and Local Storage Policy.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
TPM does not use advertising cookies and does not use third-party tracking cookies. Google sign-in and YouTube authentication may involve Google's own cookies or session systems outside TPM's control.
Google's Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. The YouTube Terms of Service are available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.
6. Data deletion
You can delete locally stored TPM data at any time by using TPM or browser controls:
- Open TPM, go to Settings / Maintenance Menu / Account & Privacy, then click Clear Cached YouTube Data. This removes cached YouTube API data, opened-video state, saved search presets, and transcript/search cache data stored by TPM on this browser.
- Use Reset Settings to restore TPM preferences. This does not revoke Google account access.
- Remove the Chrome extension to delete extension-managed local data according to Chrome behavior.
- Clear extension/site data from your browser settings if you want to remove browser-managed local storage for the extension.
Deleting local TPM data does not delete videos, playlists, subscriptions, or other content from your YouTube account.
7. Revoking Google/YouTube access
You can revoke TPM's Google/YouTube account authorization at any time from your Google Account permissions page:
https://myaccount.google.com/connections?filters=3,4&hl=en
TPM also provides an in-app Revoke Google/YouTube Access button in Settings / Maintenance Menu / Account & Privacy. That button opens the Google Account permissions page and clears TPM's locally cached Chrome Identity token where technically possible.
After revocation, TPM cannot access your YouTube data unless you sign in again and grant permission again.
8. Token handling
TPM relies on Chrome Identity and Google OAuth mechanisms. OAuth/auth tokens are used only for user-authorized actions and are not sold, shared, or used for unrelated purposes.
TPM does not manually expose tokens to users or to TODIJ servers. On sign-out-like local cleanup or when the revoke flow is opened, TPM attempts to remove cached local auth tokens through Chrome Identity where technically possible. Full account-level revocation is completed through your Google Account permissions page.
9. Third-party services
TPM interacts with Google OAuth 2.0, the YouTube Data API, and YouTube pages/endpoints needed for user-requested workflows. Your use of YouTube and Google services is governed by Google's terms and policies.
TPM's website uses Google-hosted fonts. The extension itself does not send your YouTube library data to TODIJ servers.
10. Children's privacy
TPM is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or process data from children.
11. Policy updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated when TPM features or data handling change. The "Last Updated" date identifies the latest revision. Continued use of TPM after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
