1. About this policy
This policy describes Todij Playlist Manager (TPM), including 3.0.79 liked-video cleanup, link exports and bulk subscription management. TPM uses YouTube API Services and runs in your browser to help you find, organize and open videos from playlists, liked videos, subscribed channels and manually supplied links.
The extension does not send your YouTube library to a TODIJ-operated server. It is independent and is not endorsed by Google or YouTube. Optional website chat is described separately below.
2. Data and Google authorization
Google sign-in requests the youtube.readonly and youtube scopes together. TPM reads your chosen library and sends playlist, subscription or liked-video changes only when you explicitly request them. You can revoke authorization through your Google Account connections page.
For your chosen workflows, TPM accesses playlist and playlist-item IDs; video IDs, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publication dates and durations; channel names and IDs; subscription and liked-video information; and available view, like and HD/SD definition metadata. It also processes YouTube links, IDs and link files you choose to import. Transcript requests are disabled in 3.0.79.
3. How data is used
Data supports loading, searching, filtering, sorting, pagination, display, local caching and opening selected videos. Imports show a preview before you confirm. Playlist, subscription and liked-video changes require your explicit action and confirmation. In Liked Videos, Unlike selected videos removes your likes from the selected loaded items. Unlike all videos covers every loaded liked video across all pages, including items hidden by filters; it excludes likes that have not been loaded. Clear earlier selections before a filtered cleanup, review the exact targets and count, then confirm. You can cancel remaining requests; an in-flight request may finish. Successfully removed items disappear from the workspace and its loaded count updates. Bulk unsubscribe presents the selected channels before Start Queue, processes up to 25 per batch with cooldowns, and allows cancellation of remaining requests; an in-flight request may complete.
Export video links from Selected videos, Current page, Matching filters (all pages), or All loaded videos. Each scope shows its count and includes links from any loaded source, including YouTube API-loaded playlists, liked videos and channels. TXT and CSV contain URLs; JSON also includes video IDs. Files omit titles, descriptions, thumbnails, durations, account details and playlist structure. This is a link list, not a complete account or playlist backup.
TPM does not download video or audio files. It does not use Google API data for advertising, cross-site tracking, unrelated profiling, brokerage or sale. TPM uses information from Google APIs in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.
4. Local storage and retention
TPM uses IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local for preferences, cached library metadata, search progress, source selections, saved presets and local opened-video markers. These markers record opening through TPM, not your YouTube watched history. YouTube API caches are limited to 24 hours; saved lazy-search progress has a six-hour lifetime. Preferences may remain until reset, browser data removal or uninstall.
A bounded playlist-import job stores the active channel/account context, destination and per-item results for up to 24 hours from creation to support progress and recovery. OAuth tokens are not stored in that job.
Exported files are user-managed downloads. They may contain links and IDs obtained from API-loaded sources. They are not automatically refreshed or deleted by TPM, and the extension-cache lifetime does not apply to those files. Delete downloads separately when no longer needed. 5. Deleting local data
Open Settings & Privacy in the sidebar. Clear Cached YouTube Data asks for confirmation and removes local YouTube caches, saved search progress/import-job records, opened-video state and saved search presets, keeping UI preferences. Reset Settings restores UI preferences without revoking Google access. Revoke Google/YouTube Access opens Google Account connections, where you complete revocation. Delete downloaded files separately. Removing TPM through Chrome’s extension controls also deletes its extension-managed local data; this does not delete YouTube playlists or subscriptions or revoke account authorization.

6. Revoking access and token handling
Revoke TPM access directly from Google Account connections. After revocation, TPM cannot access your YouTube data unless you sign in and grant permission again. Removing browser data is separate from revoking authorization.
Chrome Identity and Google OAuth manage authorization. Tokens are used for authorized Google API calls and are not included in exports or import-job records, or sent to TODIJ servers. Account-level revocation is completed through Google.
7. Cookies, services and optional website chat
The extension does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Google authentication and YouTube pages you open use Google’s own services and session controls. See Google’s Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
This website uses Google-hosted fonts and hosting/security services. The optional website assistant sends the question and recent conversation you choose to submit to the TPM website server. Search mode searches website content; AI answers, when enabled, may send that text and relevant public product content to the configured provider (OpenRouter or Z.ai). Do not submit passwords, OAuth tokens or private library information. The extension does not automatically send its library to this assistant.
The chat endpoint uses request timing and a hash derived from IP address and browser information for rate limiting. Website hosting and security services may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site. Contact us below about website messages or data requests.
8. Children, updates and contact
TPM is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or process data from children. This policy may be updated when features or data handling change; the date above identifies this revision.
